Margie I plucked these three little blooms from the larger bloom head (probably not what it is called). Taken inside. They are each less than an inch across.

Margie Thank you for the nice comment! These are the state flower in Pennsylvania and they grow all over the hillsides. I like in Ohio but I have this very old one in my yard.
