Kill Your LCD #1

First day of Project Kill Your LCD. This week, I am going to take pictures in b/w JPEG only, with a taped-over LCD screen and no postprocessing.

I am not too unhappy with my LCD-less beginnings. I found myself looking at the disabled screen about every two shots, but I am pretty surprised by the quality of the resulting pictures, even though the contrast set by the camera seems a bit high at times. Significant improvements in photography? Not yet, even though I did try subjects I wouldn't have looked at through the viewfinder before. Serious mood swings? None, though I did miss the colors when I took a picture of a colorful facade that came out dull on the computer.
