Yeah, I have better pictures from sunrise at Angkor Wat.
So what? Probably you can find even better on the Internet so why bother.
I'd rather show you what it is like to be at Angkor Wat during sunrise.
We spend almost 3 days exploring the whole complex, but only on 3rd day we decided to go for sunrise. We heard a lot about crowds there, etc, but being there is completely different story.
The place is swarmed with Asian tourist holding 1-2 tripods with 2-3 cameras each. All of them wait in the line around small pond to capture the best shot.
I tried politely to ask whether I could crouch in front of 2 tripods as I wouldn't be ruining anyones photos at this spot. Well, I needed to fight my way there, becoming a part of this photo-madness.
Yeah, it was definitely worth it - for the feeling, for the sight, for the photos - but atmosphere there is, well, not friendly and nice, it's much more like a small photo-battlefield out there.
So, elbows high!

I was there in last fevruary, but not in the evening! Beautiful pic with the people!
And yes, there was a sort of highway of tourists... Impossible to take a pic of the temple without people! And I'd even catched bonzes taking pics with they smartphones... A little strange and funny!
Have a very nice trip! I follow you that's sure!
