I apologise in advance for getting a little philosophical, but today was the first day (5 days in) where I was just walking around and saw something that I HAD to go and grab my camera to take a photo.
It was actually the table, just to the left of this in my garden, splattered with huge rain drops that gather inside the dual layers of glass. The pattern and texture were amazing. But after grabbing the camera, the photos just didn't look as good as I wanted them to. But then I saw this flower.
It had already blossomed and bloomed, and then fallen. I've been criticising the weather and the light for making it difficult to take good photos daily. But this was a real wake up to how appealing photos can be made anywhere, at anytime.
Finally, this is the first day I've had my photo of the day done before noon. And not only does it feel rewarding in itself, but it's given me that mental boost I needed to continue with the productivity - something I would have never imaged being a side effect.
