Somewhere on the site there is a suggestion on how to start your project. An idea is to spend a bit of time talking about yourself. Good idea; context is important.
So far I've posted a silly selfie, and have talked (briefly) about why I'm on this site. Today I want to share, at least a bit, of my place in the world.
I live and work at an outdoor education centre in the Halliburton Highlands. More specifically I live/work (liork?) at the end of a five kilometer long driveway.
There are several spots along the drive that I rather enjoy (a couple of wetlands, a stand of red pines, and a nice little rock out cropping) that I hope to share throughout the year.
This picture isn't pretty, it isn't interesting, and most certainly isn't anything to print and mount on a wall. What it is, however, is an accurate (ish) representations of my driveway (I bumped that saturation to give the trees a bit more colour); again, context is important.
Most of my photographs will be of where I liork (worive?). Expect landscapes, and nature, and very little people... at least until the summer picks up.
(For the record, this POV shot was taken with the truck in park, my 4-ways flashing, and a few pylons behind me... safety first!)
