January Ninth.

So today I went out with a friend and we had a walk and I walked him through the basics of DSLR video. I forgot to take any stills even though there were plenty of awesome photos I could have taken.

I planned to just take a still from the footage for todays image but after getting home and looking out the window, the sky was a really weird colour. Purple/orange EVERYWHERE casting a glow over everything. I opened the window to get a wider view and saw the rainbow. Usually I would adjust the white balance and hue to either fix a colour cast like this, or enhance it, but for once (probably just this once) this is pretty much a straight out of camera image. It left me no choice other than to grab the camera again and take a few shots. You win nature, enjoy your day in the sun.
