Home Sweet Home: The Lake

With the milder weather I was planning on going out and photographing some words. Unfortunately the weather was just miserable to go and shoot.

Instead I spent the day going over some old files and coming up with a list of things to get done (i.e. some courses in Toronto I want to take, time and dates for some meetings, etc).

This, however, still left me with a challenge; what to take a picture of today?

Since I'm still working on this whole "Who Am I and Stuff" intro, I figured I'd shoot the lake!

The difference in colour between the bottom and the top of the lake was caused by different rates of freezing. The bottom (protected by a bay) was allowed to start to freeze much quicker. It has actually gone through a couple freeze/thaw cycles. The top froze over in one bitterly cold night.
