Liberated bridge

Our second and last day in Budapest was quite active - we got up early, packed our stuff to the car after "logging out" (I know, checking, but I love to misuse this term :P) from the hostel, took our boards and rode around the city. It's even better for longboard than Bratislava, so I was really glad we've taken our boards :) we visited a market at Kazinczy street in the morning, went for the rose-shaped ice-cream again, climbed up to Buda castle, rode down with our boards, went for a vegetarian burger and discovered, that Liberty Bridge is closed for cars for the time of renovation.. and young people of the capital city held a picnic there earlier! It was super fun to ride a longboard in the middle of the street, with smiling policemen waving to us and keeping the cars away, and some people walking around in a really Sunday-like mood.

We were almost heading back to our car, when - asking for a good place to drink a beer (or juice, in my case) before leaving - we were told, that there is a beer festival taking place during this weekend and we have to see it! Martyna was really happy and we stayed for, like, two or three hours longer that we previously planned ^^ so we've travelled through Slovakian mountains during the night and it was quite a challenge for our Skoda ;) but we've made it home late night and went straight to sleep.

It was quite a nice vacation, and I brought back so many photos, that I had over 4 months delay to upload them. Now the holidays photos are complete!
