vera Thank you Craig! These great castles are often communal properties, renovated and used as touristic and cultural places. It houses museums, artistic expositions, concerts, all sorts of manifestations, conference rooms, etc. Really living places! I'm happy you're interested!
Terry Artt Glad to give you a little inspiration Vera, it will be interesting to see which castles you select as there are many around in the Vaud and Valais region. Perhaps I will complement your series of one in the Berner Oberland area, could be interesting.

Satoshi T Castle of Schadau that Terry introduced have a feeling of the resort villa. Castles which Vera introduced look the wall is high, windows appear small. I think Vera's Castles is old and they have strong character as Defense Base.
vera Yes that's right Satoshi... Chillon is a fortified Castle and was used as a defensive place between South and north Europe in ancient times!... Well observed!
