Blizzard '18

So we had a pretty hardcore blizzard today. It was nearly meeting the requirements of wind speed to be considered a hurricane as well, which was nuts! Luckily I was able to work from home and make sure everything was okay. Nothing froze, power stayed on, no flooding... we made out a lot better than many others, for which I'm very grateful. My friend sent me a video of the alley behind our work, which is about a block away from the ocean. The alley was a river of water with little chunks of ice floating down it. The main street in front of our building was totally flooded too, and dumpsters were washing away down it. So yeah, it got pretty brutal! And keep in mind that this is a pretty main part of the city ending up looking like this!
