How to catch a ball in mid air

I am really missing ball season. I have been playing for the last two years and it's one of those fun leagues. I am no pro, but I love the team aspect and enjoying the evening sun. I'm not a big fan of the legs in this image. If I was really jumping up in mid air my legs would be more dangling. Am I right? Next time I will construct my ideas more carefully (and make sure my other arm is more visible). Ohh and I showed my cousin my image and she said I looked like a boy. hahaha ok.
