Practicing high contrast and drama [day 62]

A friend of mine challenged me, and so I'll shot B&W for a week, and this statue it's an opportunity to try some extreme contrasts and composition.

This sculpture, titled "Pietà" is a work of Ettore Ximenes (1855-1926), an artist from Palermo, Italy, and it's placed at the center of a green with trees in a high traffic square.
