Master Yoda and the X-wing Starfighter sit atop the cubicle farm at the office. As I was leaving, I knew that they were likely to be literally the last photographable thing I was going to see today. I do believe I came up with a pretty neat angle, and they cleaned up nicely in Snapseed. I spent 10 minutes putting them through various filters in Prisma, saved eight best options and cycled through them in Lightroom, narrowing it down to three and wishing I could share them all. The people (Russian, I believe) who put Prisma together are veritable geniuses. In the end, I decided to post the straight up version as it looked crisp and not too over-the-top. iPhone X and Snapseed make a dangerous one-two punch combo in skillful hands.
Having posted it, I realized it was too dark and had an ugly yellow color cast from the office fluorescent lights, so I pulled it and fixed it one more time in Lightroom. If iPhone X and Snapseed is a dangerous combo, iPhone X, Snapseed and Lightroom is deadly.
As I look over what people put in and on top of their cubicles, I do feel there is a project in there somewhere. I just need to decide on the format and the medium. Tookapic? Maybe post photos on the company’s intranet and make people guess which photo goes with whose cubicle.
