Mother Nature

Mother nature has the power to please, to comfort to calm, and to nature ones soul.

I had this mother earth/nature concept sketched a few weeks ago and decided as part of the alphabet challenge to incorporate it as part of week M. I will probably incorporate it into week N. I spent the last week working on the birds nest (in my hand), the head piece took a few days (lots of back and forth) trying on and adding. The burlap dress took me maybe 5 minutes to prepare. I will post some photos on the days I missed posting. I really don't mind creating things. Its a great way to pass time and I've always been a crafty. I just need an idea and a goal to create. I think I inherit the DIY spirit from my father. He is always soo handy and prefers to do everything himself. He even sketches little projects before he creates them too.

This photo did not turn out as sharp as I wanted it too, but I just love the pose for this one. So went to work right away editing this one.
