Anelletti [day 116]

We Italians are so obsessed with food and pasta shapes that most Italian pasta factories make special shapes to be used only for one recipe (admittedly, with a few variations), known only by people living a one place, and sold only there.

Here in western Sicily we use these "Anelletti" (rings) to prepare our fabulous "Pasta al Forno" (baked pasta).
