Annunciation bell

This is the "Verkündigungs Glocke" (english: Annunciation bell) from Bremgarten. In 1984 the city church of bremgarten caught fire and this is the only bell that survived this fire inferno. Today it stands outside the church as a monument to the fire.

This shot was very fun to take. I took it in the dark and lit the bell using an off camera flash. It somehow reminds me of Darth Vaders melted helmet :)
