Spring at Lake Zug

I first saw this view in the morning and was absolutely fascinated by the colours, shadows and the general feel of this scene. The blossoming cherry trees in combination with the different shades of green really captured my attention. Sadly I didn't have any time to shoot it.

When I got back there two and a half hours later the sun was already high up in the sky and the view had completely changed. After I took the image I was very disappointed by the flat and washed out look.

Luckily I was able to completely change the image in Lightroom and it now looks almost like the scene I saw at half past nine in the morning. I'm very happy with the result, especially when you compare it to the RAW file.
