Shoe Box

Want to understand focal lenght? Take a long and thin object then zoom in, zoom out, go closer to the object, go further, combine zoom and walking, spend some time on it. Shoot couple of photos and view 'em on your computer. Experiment, and I'm sure you will master it :)

Chris Breitigan I totally agree with what you said. Out of curiosity, what focal length did you take this?

Chris Breitigan Really? I wasn't expecting such a short length. I guessed around 25-35

Peter Maybe becouse I moved box to the right a little, then cropped the photo. On 25-35mm looked to flat :/ Wish I could go shorter tho. Would love to experiment with fish-eye lens :)
