Kateli Well the weather isn't the best to try it out but it seems very sharp. Must say that I do like the Fuji a lot. It's design, the better captor, higher image quality, ... Lots of things to like about it ! And you ??
anjin I'm in love with fuji!!! This is my first fuji camera... previously I had sony alpha65 with 16-50 f/2.8 and I thought it's a great camera... but when I grabbed fuji and saw how sharp lenses it has... I totally changed my mind... I was opting on either x-e3 or x-pro2 but finally decided to x-e3 as the processor is the same, size is better for me in x-e3 ... of course x-pro2 has better shutter time (1/8000) but it wasn't that important to me. Now I use 3 lenses: 23 f/2, 56 f/1.2 and the best one 80 f/2.8 (macro) - the last one is AMAZING... however 56 f/1.2 is a bokeh monster and perfect fit for portraits (only one disadvantage is slow AF) - but overall with this setup I feel like the xmass is all the time :)))
Kateli That's interesting. You like the 23mm. What do you use it for most ?? And the macro 80mm ? Is it better than the 60mm ? I have that one but haven't really used enough yet. I was thinking of getting the 10-24 or 8-16. Do you know anything about them ? I like wide angle lenses too !
anjin 23 mainly for street photo ... but Im not the fan of this Lens ... 80mm is very versatile - I use it for street (of course not as 23) it gives me a kind of distance which makes this more comfortable ... 80mm is the only macro lens of fuji with 1:1 represebtation of objects - in 60 you have 1:2 or 1:4 (objects on photo are smaller than in reality) So with 80mm you can Take really Great macro photos ... I do not use any zooms So cannot tell anything about 10-24 nor 8-16 ... I love those of mine because they are extremely sharp
