The day was dominated by a trip to Birmingham for a Twenty One Pilots gig with my daughters and a friend, so opportunities for photography were few and far between. Sadly DSLRs and ILCEs were banned from the arena, so I only have iPhone shots from the event - I must pick up a point and shoot with a decent zoom for the next one...
On the upside, we did get to experience a lovely sunset on the drive up to the Midlands, and seeing that the road drew close to the Grand Union Canal, I pulled off for a two-minute stop at Hatton Locks. Such a beautiful peaceful spot, and one that brought back many happy memories of river and canal trips in the past.
