I wonder how it went to that we, in Poland, read "s" as "s" and "sz" like something similar to English "sh". In Hungary "sz" is read like "s" and "s" like "sz"/"sh". You can imagine how my family name, having "s" and "sz" in it at one time, makes a confusion ;-)
