nothing to see here

The elementary school here is in a tough neighborhood, near the freeway offramp and homeless encampments. The school building itself was upgraded more recently and is in good shape but one wonders what the thought was in creating this concrete planter where it's too shady for anything to grow. It's become a nothing place where they set out mouse traps and keep tidy.
