Catbird

These birds are kind of bold. This one was hopping around on the shrubs of the floodplain, curiously peeking at me.

It was a magical morning until I dropped my phone in the rain swollen river and watched it sink beyond reach into the swift water. At least it was not my camera, but even so, I'm going to have to rate this day as terrible.
