Election Day

So Australia just had it's federal election, and I'm not particularly happy with the side that appears to be winning at the moment. Their policies are horrible, and have somehow brainwashed the country into believing they are economic masterminds. They cut funding and privatise everything. Vital services that need to be publicly owned and operated. Things that need to be people first, not profit driven. It's a bad day in Australian politics, but I can't say I'm surprised. It's very difficult to be surprised by anything at all these days. Hopefully things will change in the future. Who knows, with the way our government is, we could have another new Prime Minister in a couple of months anyway.
