Warning: Rant and Vent ahead...
I've written this entry about four or five times now. I rant and bitch and whine about how my team....
I feel like I'm failing them. In the last week, I've had to let one go because of attitude and behaviour. I have people I'm suppose to lead not be able to do simple tasks. I have some of the best teammates... like bedrock solid... start to crumble.
I'm sitting at the foot of the driveway now, trying to come-up with a plan. How do you motivated people to take ownership of their activities? They get the schedule in advance, they have access to binders with lesson plans and to actual flesh-and-blood people to ask questions of. How to you motivate early-twenty somethings to plan ahead and take ownership of their work?
Whatever. I'm not going to fix anything tonight. Tomorrow I'm sitting down with the department leadership and try to salvage this mess.
