Saving pigeon's leg

On vacation one of the pigeons of our neighbour has been found with open fracture of the leg. Thanks to the help of our collegue who is specialist in avian medicine and her advices by the phone and some modern opportunities (videochat, etc) using our small medical equipment we have cleaned the wound, gave some antibiotics and add some bandages. Hopefully everything it is going ok...
