A short story about the guitar in the case.
It's not so often when I use hard-case for it, usually it's much easier (and not so heavy!) to take standard, soft case.
But yesterday there was "open mic" in my vocal school and I sang (and played) two songs there. And of course hard case looks much more professional :D
It was really good night and I think I've managed to do well. But the nerves at the stage is something that I can't describe. It's amazing how calm and happy you are among those all people, of whom you know the most and you know they like you, and few moments later what happens with your mind and body when you stay by the microphone.
Fortunately it's something that you can use to. I'm really looking forward to the day when I'll go out there and I'll be only excited, without all that fear about how everything will go. Right now I try to just befriend this stage-fright and just remember to change leg position from time to time not letting them to shiver to much :D
Nevertheless I love doing music. And the stage is the best place when you can give 100% of yourself, gaining probably even more than you give. The feeling when you manage to get "the flow" and just go with song emotions trough yourself to the other people is one of the kind. I just hope that someday I'll sing on the level that not only my friends will want to hear me ;-)
