Project 365 Day 56 Luna

My daughter's preschool class has adopted an animal from the wild life shelter. Meet Luna, the oposum, she has been with the shelter since she was a baby. She was found injured. Her tail could not be fixed completely and she will never be able to be released back into the wild. Opossums are very soft and have the most teeth of any land mammal. Can you tell I learned a lot. We also got to see a barn owl, a horned owl, a turkey vulture and a few others.
