Feeding Feral Cats

I've taken quite a few photos of feral cats in my area, but I had no idea there was a large feral cat colony very close to my home until this morning. A local news station did a report on a 75-year-old man who walks a couple miles to feed these cats every day, rain or snow.

My wife and I drove out and found the location, and we decided to bring the cats some food. There are at least twenty cats living behind this old building. I took tons of photos like this one.

Soon after I fed the cats, the old man featured on the news story arrived. He lives alone, and he is admittedly quite lonely. He talked to me for about an hour, telling me his entire life story. I didn't get any amazing photos of him unfortunately, but it was great to meet such a nice old guy.
