Project 365, Roll 02, Frame 01, Day 035
I quite thrilled to start uploading scan from the second roll of film in my analogue 365 project because the negative - Eastman Kodak Double-X 5222 - is not available with standard dealers. It is a special motion picture negative used by the producers of such masterpieces like Schindler's List, Raging Bull (b&w scenes), Kill Bill (b&w scenes), Psycho, Casino Royal (2006, b&w scenes). I deliberately decided to rate the film @ EI 640 and develop in Diafine. I am really quite amazed by this film, it is a pity it is not available in 120 format. The negatives are supplied by Kodak in big spools and respooled into small cans. I bought it from @northernfilmlab
This is the first of the roll shot; however as it was shot on Canon 300 it is actually the last frame on the roll / the light leaks are most likely made the supplier. Compared to the previous roll of Ilford FP4+ it is really totally different "material" and I like it a lot, much more then the FP4+ (strangely the quality of scans is much nicer with Double-x which is pushed 1,5 stop...).
