I've bought this lamp and a softbox like 2 weeks ago now. And.. hmm.. it looks nice in my living room, so professional and making artistic look. But somehow I haven't time to test how it behaves and what I can achieve with it.

I wanted this lamp to be some kind a contra-light, but first tries shows that it won't be so easy. In my dream catcher photo ("3.317") you can see some try to achieve that, but the effect, even if nice, is not exactly what I've dreamed of ;-)

I wonder how much I can gain from those constant light lamps for relatively small money. I've never liked flash. And I'm using also compact camera or even my phone (with all analogue equipment waiting for a chance), so I've chosen this kind of lamps to have a compromise with everything.

Will see... I hope that in not so far future I'll be able to show something more from my home studio.
