On our way home we stopped at a small French village, Chateau-Chinon, to be honest just because ot the ‚Chateau‘ (Castle) in its name and because it was a good time to take a break after 2 hours of driving from Bourges. We walked to a viewpoint despite the heat, and on the way back we saw a sign saying ‚fountain‘. Since it was really hot we hoped to find some cooling. And we found a fountain by Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely...! One of only 5 in the world. And why is there a fountain by these famous artists in a small provincial town?
