World Mask Week

I started at new job recently. A job I sort of dreamed about during my PhD. Well.. I dreamt about two positions - the one I already had and this one. Lucky me, huh? Photography is now officially part of what I do for a living. Wish me luck!

I took portraits of our employees for World Mask Week. Martin was so kind to let me use his picture as my daily photo today.

The mask he wears is special. it features an Axolotl - a master of regeneration among the animals. It was done by an artist who used to live in Dresden and is known to bridge art and science quite a bit (redbubble.com/i/mask/Axolotl-b...).
