19th of August is considered as a birthday of photography - it's said that it was in 1839 when it was first presented in form of daguerreotype - pictures were made on silver plates. It was quite shortly replaced by other techniques, but had its place in the history :)
I've decided to take out my film cameras to somehow celebrate this day. Nope - it was not the moment when I took also a film from the fridge - it's only a good PR for the photo :P
I think I wrote it somewhere here that when I've bought Bronica SQ-Ai - my dreamed 6x6 camera here pictured inside Start 66 viewfinder - I've stopped to do analogue photography after 4 of 5 rolls of film. I have no idea why in fact. That was quite intensive time and probably that lack of time made me to stop shooting, but even so... I'll have to go back to this someday. Latest on the retirement :D :D :D
