This is the usual setup at my home studio. The constant light source is LED panel at 1/2 power just off center and slightly higher than subject. Remotely triggered naked flash is firing into the wall behind the subject from 1 meter away at 1/8 power. This makes the light gray wall appear white and throws back enough light to wrap the subject. The flash is set to 24mm zoom meaning it is throwing a very wide beam, which is responsible for the highlight spilling onto the cheek. This effect can be desirable or not. At 1/16 power and 50m zoom the light from the flash is better controlled, but I liked this pose better.
