Today I've waved goodbye to my old friend Canon 5d. No, I don't sell it, just put it into storage with all that photographic (mostly analogue) stuff I don't use currently. This camera is from 2008 and I got it in 2012 - 9 good years and a lot of awesome pictures that it gave me. But it's time for some new technologies.
I got a shirt with Annie Leibovitz cite " I think photography will always be chemical." and despite going into newer and newer digital stuff my experience with film gave me a lot in the terms of understand it. I'm to lazy to not have photos in few seconds ready to be shown, but slowing down whole brain processes during photography is a good thing. Looking from different angles and knowing how different lenses and settings will impact my vision of the world made me more flexible in the ways of showing it.
And I still think that camera is only a tool, you take photos with your soul.
