Tiki Zoom Explosion

I was asked to photograph a 6th grade luau -- basically a fancy pool party. I noticed that I am being asked to photograph a lot of events lately, but not so many that I don't have to relearn my camera every time.

I wonder if this shot, semi-abstract as it is, succeeds and showing night dancing. Perhaps the zoom explosion signifies the frantic rhythm of the party or just a good time.
