A story from yesterday, but didn't feel like posting it:
This morning I received a notice from Scotiabank about a previously closed credit card.
A card that had been closed since 2019 had a balance and I had to call in to figure out how to clear it.
It took three attempts (including one 'disconnection') and more than an hour on hold to get things resolved...
When I closed out that card two years ago I had a credit of $0.58; the bank OWES me fifty-eight cents.
The money will be deposited by the end of the week
Unrelated to banking is this picture of an Eastern Phoebe (Fee-bee). I played heavily with Noise Reduction and other settings.
