Growing Up

This is him (or her) now. For the last couple of days, he was on the ground learning how to forage for food, although the parents still come and feed him. Yesterday, or maybe even earlier, he started to fly up to the low-lying branches of the bushes in our backyard. One can see that his tail feathers are not yet fully grown. It is said that they stay on the ground for about 10 days, and then they finally fly away.
