Daniel Zaleski @Satoshi Well, yes and no. I have shot her with f1.8 and I still had to shoot at 1/40s = out of focus and motion blur are responsible for that. Not ideal, I know. Also, I will shoot her from the other side so that you can see the front of the violin, not its back. But I have to move my model to some different place in order to have the light. I will start a great refurbishment of my parents' house in April and hope to move in in November. You cannot imagine how much I look forward to be in the house ... there is so much light, esp. compared to our current flat which is dark, dark, dark.
Satoshi T I understand. In this situation, your selection is better - Especially back light to hair and background bokeh - . If I did, increasing the ISO and Aperture value but I think it cause ruined atmosphere of this. btw. So I'm also looking forward to new house filled with light :)
