Summer Configuration (without paying $4,000)

The joke/teasing at work recently is that I spend too much money or am not aware of the cost of things (like hydro). So I've decided to have fun with it!

I'm going through company assets to determine if we need to continue to have insurance on them still. (This crazy list, which includes things like Crazy Carpets and basketballs, was a reaction to a fire back in 2017.). So, I eliminated close to $50,000 worth of items.

In my update to the Big Boss I asked if I could take some of those savings and buy a new bird feeder. Amazon had a really nice one that is only $4,000. The Big Boss replied back that he'd build me one for only $3,000...

... it's nice working somewhere that you can have some fun.

(But seriously: that Amazon bird MUST be a joke... Right?)
