Did my errands. Got groceries. Washed laundry. And took some pictures.
Saw a car covered with Canadian flags, an anti-Trudeau sign in the windshield, and a couple-a-few stickers sharing some of their other beliefs. I took a picture of it.
It was an oddity. I seen pictures of Freedom Convoy vehicles, but never one in the wild.
So, why I am not sharing that picture instead of yet another over-edited snap of the gate? Good question.
As I was backing out, a different customer took a picture of my car. Based on me stereotyping their vehicle (big crew-cab pickup truck with a Canadian flag hanging out of a window) they too supported the convoy. My assumption being... I'm not sure... Getting my plate maybe?
Regardless, the whole thing left me feeling a bit off. Was it okay to take a picture of an interesting vehicle?
From a legal standpoint (based on my limited Googling) I should be fine.
From an ethical point-of-view I think I'm okay as well. I'm not doing anything with the picture (it's not going to end up online. At the most I'll probably add it my Lightroom catalog as a curiosity and leave it at that).
Anyway.... Too much excitement for one day. Street (or Parking Lot) Photography probably isn't for me. I don't have the nerves for it.
