Dragonfly

Dragonflies are absolutely awesome and I've wanted to get a photo of one for a long time. Yesterday I got my chance... because this one got stuck inside and couldn't fly through the window. Eventually it got tired and gazed longingly out the magical see-through barrier, and I was able to get a few shots before helping it get outside. This one was the most interesting of those shots because of the space behind the head. I know now it's where the male clamps onto the female when mating.
