Grey heron and Canadian geese

There were no heron today at the entrance. I made my way to the clearing but there was nothing there either. The geese were flying round the loch but there was no sight of any heron. I gave some fish to the crows who had followed me round and was watching them eat it . When I turned round the little female was standing in the water looking at me. She had her feed then flew back to the centre of the loch.
