There were 5 Heron this morning. They all met me at the dovecote. A lot of jostling for position (apart from the little female (pictured) who stood in front of me, she did see off the middle male who got too close). The male previously known as nervy stood at my other side. The middle male and the young male were constantly at it. Then the chick appeared from behind me, she was much more subdued though, The little female had enough and took off so I made my way to the clearing. ex-Nervy was waiting along with the little female. I split what was left between them and made for home. There were a few crows around but no gulls.
I used one of my old Pentax cameras this morning. It has some screen issues in that the play is erratic but it does not appear to have the aperture block issue
