There were 7 heron around today Including the little female , the adult male (pictured), the young male with the dark patch and the juveniles - Jekyll and Hyde (I do not normally name the heron but this just describes them so well. Hyde had a go at everything as usual and Jekyll was hanging right back from the other heron making it difficult to feed him. I did not identify the other 2 but they have probably been before. It is strange that the numbers vary so much and it seems to happen more at the weekend. The crows, the dogs and the coot all got biscuits.
