With the gull population at the loch reduced to it's normal level, the heron are no longer intimidated and were out in numbers today. There were 5 met me at the entrance. Most flying down from the tenement roofs at the side of the entrance. The usual suspects were all there the little female, the original young one, looking amazing (pictured), the adult male, the nervy one and hyde. They followed me across the slope to the water. The little female had already departed to the clearing. I had taken more fish today so they all had a good feed. The crows, coots and moorhen had biscuits and the duck had some fish.
