A proud father

It is now 10:55 Friday morning - I am only just posting yesterday's image. Gives an indication of yesterday - no details needed but goodness I am getting too old for dinners that start at 9pm! (And then I, with help, start clearing up at 12:15am, after a three course meal for 8.)

One of my commitments yesterday was to attend the village school carol service which is always a delight. Sadly I could only stay for about 20 minutes this year, but that gave me the opportunity to whip my phone out and take two images that did not show children.
Very much looking forward to the opportunity to press a camera shutter button again .... smart phones are very good, but taking a photo on a phone does not give me the same pleasure as a proper camera. Just how I feel.

A very busy schedule is also an indication that the holiday is getting closer.
