Winter Swim... Monday

🌊 In general, the water is getting warmer, but the fresh ice is still growing at night and you can safely walk on the old ice cover along the shore (or you can't, because it's irresponsible and dangerous!)

❄️ The hole was prepared yesterday, but ice has grown about 1cm in 24h and it's sharp AF! We took an axe with us, but we eventually broke the ice with our own bodies!

🧊 Just me and my Mom in the hole, and Grandma with a timer at the beach. How funny, she didn't check the timer and we bathed for almost 12 minutes...

🦭 Pity that my Sister couldn't join us at the hole today and for lunch later... by the way - lunch! There is a restaurant called Diabelski Młyn ("Ferris Wheel" is the default translation, but "Devil's Mill" is the literal one) situated in a wooded ravine with a creek flowing underneath, where they serve excellent Basque cheesecake. I'm not an expert, just sayin'
