I'm not a specialist of portraits, and I just say what I feel... Perhaps in my opinion, your position could be a little more on the left and not so close to the wall. But... I search something to suggest ;-)

Satoshi T for me, it's a little bit unnatural. because diagonal sun light and shade suddenly stop on your face. but when I see it as an art, it turn to strong effect expressing "person thinking"
